Posted - Jun 12 2020 : 09:07:53 AM Thanks for all the help...I'm learning so much.
Yesterday I made 2 recipes, and today I'm making 2 more. I've kept about 2 cups of Mother in my bowl to build up.
Here's my question (and I apologize if someone else has asked and I've overlooked your reply)
If I feed her the regular water/flour tonight, and she builds up overnight enough to make another recipe tomorrow. is that too soon? Has she had time to fully ferment overnight so I'll get a good rise, or is there a suggested number of days I should wait?
Appreciate all your guidance...the recipes are terrific.

Posted - Jun 12 2020 : 10:42:32 AM Overnight should be plenty of time for your mother to ferment and be ready to make more breads. The biggest concern would be drawing it down too much and then running out of mother to work with. I think always maintaining roughly 2 cups of mother in your bowl at all times is a good benchmark--this leaves plenty of active mother to ferment any new additions.
