Apparently my skillet bread was too moist, cause it did just like the picture in the back of the book! But that didn’t changes stop my family from loving it! My dad said it was his favorite bread yet! I lost track of my scoops of flour when I was making it and I didn’t want to add to much and make it dry. Hopefully next time I won’t loose count...


Yesterday Morning


This morning, ready to bake. You can see how it lost its definition. But it did rise too!


Fresh out of the oven! I tried to imitate the pic on the from of WildBread :)


This picture shows a good view of the “oven spring”.


You can’t tell it in the picture, but it was smoking hot! We cut the bread practically as soon as it came out of the oven. Who can resist fresh bread at lunch time?

Oh my goodness! This loaf is absolutely drool-worthy! It's so pretty--there is definite definition between each of the lobes. I can nearly smell this bread right now, and imagine plucking one of the pieces off to slather with butter.
