Posted - Sep 27 2018 : 5:03:34 PM This week, fall was definitely in the air, so naturally, I was thinking apples. I decided to make a braided apple loaf. Trial #1 was pretty successful. I'll get more details and a recipe up soon!

Posted - May 04 2019 : 06:20:39 AM Finally, it's gardening season. Hubby tilled; I planted. This year, 2 more sweet cherry trees, 2 honey crisp apples, and 1 Fuji. My 2 new peach trees from last year are looking fabulous this year--covered in blooms about to open--my honey bees ready to pounce. In addition to braided apple loaves, I'm thinkin' braided peach loaf this year.
This year I out-smarted the underground critters who dine on bulbs by planting a riot of daffodils, tulips, dahlias, lilies, and gladiolus in my stock tank gardens. Easy pickin'. No weedin'.
Ready to go.
