Posted - Sep 25 2018 : 09:58:39 AM Well, fall is officially here. The landscape is changing here with a lot of fall colors on display. It's Adria's favorite time of year. She's pulled out all the halloween decorations already and is daydreaming of jumping in leaf piles once our maple trees shed their leaves.
This morning, I started the day out by feeding all of our refrigerator mothers. I love this view:
And, for reference, some have asked about surface discoloration. The einkorn and Einka mothers had a bit of discoloration this morning, so I snapped a picture:
The einkorn mother has settled a bit and the top of the Einka mother is slightly dry. Both of these things are normal and happen from time to time.

Posted - Sep 26 2018 : 11:07:47 AM Autumn is my favorite time of year too. I'm hungry for apple fritters. Wild sourdough recipe perhaps??? Probably not the healthiest thing to eat but I do love apple fritters this time of year. Thank you Ashley for posting the photo of the surface discoloration. Photos do help. Quite a row of mothers.
