Today I made croissants! They turned out very light and flakey! I tried one and it tasted great. Even though I measured my dough in the 8” rectangle and 24 croissants I still ended up with some fat rolls and baby rolls. But other than that they were perfect:)
This is one of my favorite pictures I took so I thought I would post it by itself:)

Elisabeth, you can't imagine how happy it makes us when you share your successes. Such a pro you've become! No doubt you're making some tummies near you happy also.

Wow! I love the picture of the cross-section of the croissant...such great definition between layers--all of those folds during the process really show through! I'm really enjoying seeing all of the beautiful breads you've been making.
Yes MaryJane, my dad has already said “Tonight I am going to have to make some chicken salad to go on those croissants you made!” Thanks I appreciate you creating this book so we can all learn the best way from the Queen(s) of Bread making! Ashley, yes it was so exiting to cut into my bread and see all those layers. If you would have seen me then you may have seen me do a happy dance:) It is so nice being able to make any recipe now and have them turn out perfect!!
