| Hello. I'm on Day 8 of my first Mother. Yesterday, I made pancakes following the recipe in Wild Bread. I added a sprinkle of cinnamon and a couple drops of vanilla. They didn't rise/loft very much so the pancakes seemed very heavy. Did I do something wrong? I did miss the evening feed a couple of times over the seven days and now, after reading--see that I should have doubled-up the next morning. |

Hi Diane,
The recipe for pancakes is on page 175. Did you add eggs, butter, buttermilk, baking powder, salt, and a bit of sweetener? |
