The on and off snowy weather we've been experiencing here has us all craving a bit of comfort food. A batch of white-flour English muffins (Wild Bread, pp. 50–51) should hit the spot!
Here they are cooling off. Sometimes I feel that waiting for fresh bread to cool enough to eat is excruciating.
But, before too long, they're cool enough to be toasted, buttered, and passed around!
